Another "van fan"... Basically stock AWD Astro but it came with 3.73 gears and the G80 locker. Added a lift, better tires ("E" BFG AT/KO) and over night interior. Perfect for the kind of places I visit (pretty tame out here).

I know I am a little late but this thing is pretty awesome

Just finished installing Rancho Quick Lift Loaded struts all the way around on the Explorer. I still have a long way to go, but at least it's off the ground a bit. Before:

I appreciate it. This is going to be a slow one, and I'm not going to get too serious with it. Spending time/cash on the mechanical side for now to get it where I want. Maybe later I'll move to different wheels, larger/more aggressive tires, etc.

It all goes together with quick release pins for the frame, snaps on the panels and on the truck to secure it. Takes just a couple minutes to set up/take down.

OK...so that little thing I mentioned about waiting to buy wheels and tires? Yeah, I'm obviously full of it. I was really going to wait but a decent sale and the uber-crappy traction of the Dunlops pushed me into wallet-killing action.

Well here is my contribution and first post. Traded my 02 mustang gt for this 99 Durango. 3 inch Tuff Country and 4 inch body. The 35's and 4inch body may be a bit much. May go down to 33's. However I am feeling an overwhelming pull to the dark side... may sell this and buy a 4runner...
