Photoshop 6 - Looks to be a pretty major upgrade

Adobe released CS6 today. I downloaded and installed the upgrade version on my two systems. I was coming from CS4 so this will be a nice jump for me. :wings:

Adobe only lets you use the upgrade option if you are within the last 2 releases so to stay on my upgrade path and continue to get the much better upgrade pricing I needed to upgrade to CS6.


That's the excuse I used to justify it anyway. :elkgrin:

Actually they had an amnesty period of sorts which finished in the 6th. I managed to get a whole bunch of cs3, cs4 suites upgraded. Saved us about $15k. Will be installing the cs6 suites when we get the discs next week I believe

Sweet, I didn't hear about the amnesty program. That certainly saved you a pile of pennies.

I think they copped a bit of flak over it and it was only a short period and only applicable to the entire suite I believe rather than individual products.

Can't wait to get my hands in it. Of course now I'll have to teach the designers all the new bits
