I am selling my truck and want to make sure that the drawer system and sleeping platform get put to good use.
Everything is 3/4" birch plywood, pocket screwed/glued.
Has been used for 50,000 miles, 20,000 while I was living and traveling out of the truck, the rest to carry construction tools for work. It is still in great shape.
The setup is currently in a 2008 tundra with an 8' bed. Can be modified pretty easily to fit any six foot bed truck(full size definitely, Tacoma size, probably and any 8' bed truck as well. All you would have to do is scribe a new top to fit your truck.
Storage system consists of two six foot long drawers that slide out fully and one 2' long chest in front of the drawers, that is about 2' deep. There is access for storage in front of the wheel wells and behind the wheel wells as well. When the drawers are at full extension a full sized person can stand in them and they don't budge.
I don't want to see it get thrown in the dumpster so make me an offer. Literally make me an offer. I had a fair amount of time and a few sheets of nice cabinet ply into it. I want to see it continued to get used.
It is located in central Vermont, 1 hour from Burlington. Pickup only.
