Pickup or wait?

I meant to continue the build concept ideas in my other thread "BJ Pickup to Expedition Vehicle".

I agree about the Troopy, but isn't that due to the rear area? Wouldn't a similar built area in th back of the pickup be the same? Seems the pickup would allow for even more space.

These seem like great options for overlanding. What's your opinion for still preferring the Troopy?

Glad you got it & 20 is a deal especially for an oil burner. I had a 40 a lifetime ago and now have an 80. I’d get a troopy just for the experience of owning one.

I'm 6' and the FJs are all comfortable rides all day long. Way more comfortable than a Tacoma or Tundra where I hit my head on the A-Pillar everytime.

YES! I had a 2020 Tacoma and gave it to my brother in law to take over payments. I kept hitting my head getting in and out! And sitting is a strange thing. Far prefer my FJ Cruiser. Look forward to the BJ45!!!
