Put spacers and the new tires on the Jeep Friday. My lift kit should be here soon. Very excited to start exploring the Southern California Desert and local Mountains this fall.

Nice meat on there Joe. Be sure to let us see the after shots with the lift. There's tons to tour and visit in the remote areas of SoCal and Owens's Valley/Saline Valley/Death Valley areas.

There are lots of active Jeep clubs in the SoCal area also. One of the more accommodating ones that I have found is www.myjeeprocks.com. They do a lot of rock crawling, but they seem to really admire expedition travel, distance camping, and are really big on trail conservation, with a very active Adopt-A-Trail ethos.
