Hey all,
I'm new here, ended up owning this crazy class b. It's a factory Quigley conversion, 33k miles, all documentation from when it was new is there. I don't think it's going to work well for me and I'll probably end up selling it but thought y'all might like it.

I had a leak in the poptop of my 12 year old SMB last winter and I found it in the spring. First photo is the largest cracked and damaged spot. I ground off the paint and gelcoat and found a crack large enough for a knife blade to slide in. Second photo is after all the clear coat and paint was sanded off the top. Third and fourth photos shows the mess inside of the van while "progress" is being made... Last photo shows the new solar panels being test fitted to see how and where they are going to mount. I'm guessing I'm half done with this mess. I have to work outside so sometime progress is determined by when I have daylight and decent weather. Hopefully it will have it done by this fall. Well, it has to be! I have a couple trips planned this summer, so some of the steps have to be planned so I can stop and clean up the van and go play a while.

Humble beginnings, recently added folding bed, foot operated sink, single burner stove, 2000 watt inverter. I've repaired the shore power circuit and started pruning the wiring.
Intention to keep mostly stock interior for now. Adding a solar panels and aux batteries are in the near future.

Here's something you don't see, um, ever. How about a small town 1990 7.3L IDI diesel ambulance converted into a SWAT van with a super cool driver's side suicide door. Came complete with a mouse for a copilot and electrically operated rifle/shotgun racks. I just spent a lot of time buffing and wet sanding all the stickers, letters, paint etc to get back to basic black. I added some new 235/85/16 ATS, mechanical stuff is next. The inter is all wood grain and chrome, would make a super cool one of a kind camper van.076.jpg080.jpg082.jpg is next...
