Went beach camping (in Nebraska... Lake McConaughy). Cool sunsets, but not really our scene. I prefer many fewer people around me (and it was hot as F*@%) .
Cool fact, the lake was 'made' in the 1930's but the sand was there already, left from the ancient ocean that occupied that land. It's super soft and deep, great for feet but not for unprepared vehicles.
We rescued our friends 5 times (three vehicles) and some strangers a few more times. Sand ladders got a workout and I think I sold some too (Treds/maxtraxx/etc.. owes me commission
)
The Sprinter kicked ass and had no issues. Didn't even air down.
