Pics of your VAN! Post up!

Apparently I never posted up a pic of our van we bought earlier this year. 2013 GMC Savana 3500 Ext passenger van (155" WB), 6.0L, 6L90 six speed with Advanced 4x4 4WD conversion. Plans are to have an high top installed and do a full build out. Gotta get a few vehicles sold first....

Still have the Pleasure-Way Traverse after all these years. Here it is in the wilds of Idaho after a recent oil change and new battery. I'm not really using it anymore as I've seemed to age out of this sort of travel. If someone might be interested in discussing a purchase, send me a PM.

Updated to say, never mind, I'm keeping it. I don't know what I was thinking!

Been putting miles on this since 2013

Only repair has been a oxygen sensor , last fall.

It's totally configurable for the particular mission.

After six years of storage, I finally got the old van back together in May/June and finally did a three day test run two weeks ago up to the Sawtooth SNRA with my, now, adult son. Save for a propane leak at the valve and the hose (scary but handled), it's working great. Doing some upgrades for comfort (interior lights, Starlink Mini, new radio, adding one of my Ecoflows to complement the onboard DC batteries). Most of my travels these days will stick to Southern Idaho and be 1-3 nights. I really just want to mostly hang out in the SNRA and fly fish. The middle of the Sawtooth Valley is only a couple hours away and I'm starting to re-imagine the van as a weekend condo rather than an adventure vehicle. I really want a $250k tricked out self contained Sprinter but I have yet to lose my damn mind...

HI CSG ! Nice to see you still have yours . Mine has been going through a bit of refresh right now with a bunch of new shelving and storage redesign.
I just posted a couple of campsite photos from finally getting the thing out last month. I'm doing a little interior updating too but other than removing the tambor door some years ago, the only interior changes were updating to LED bulbs, a new radio, bringing an EcoFlow Delta 2 (or one of my smaller ones on a case needed scenario), and adding a Starlink Mini as most of where I go has no cell service.

Love to see photos of your interior mods if you feel like posting them. This old Traverse is the best $16,500 I ever spent on a vehicle and that was back in January of 2009. It was quite the adventure van when my kids were little. We had some wonderful long trips out here in the west.

Buttoned up for the night. I don't recall if I mentioned, I had some front end work done as the ride was squirrely (tie rod, caster, and other stuff I don't understand) but it no longer wanders and the steering feels great. Also replaced the shocks with the Bilsteins designed for vans and such. Also, the propane leak was fixed so all systems are go. You can see the EcoFlow power station on the counter. Starlink hooked up. Only problem now is it's just too damned cold around here. Eyes looking for a weather window for Southern Utah.IMG_0067.jpeg
