Pictures from 2008 NAIAS (Diesel News and other Expo Vehicles)

I live in the area and had the day off so I went to enjoy the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. I tried to take a lot of pictures of all the diesels and off-road vehicles. There are some car pictures mixed in there that friends requested so just scrowl threw them if you don't care.

Particularly cool things to note:

Hummer H-X
Suzuki Cab Over Mini Truck
GM, VW, BMW, Audi, Merc., Honda, Ford, and probably others I didn't notice all had diesels on display.

That Suzuki truck is too funny lookin'! I would drive it!! What was the new Jeep called? Did it have a diesel?

It was called the Renegade. I just googled it and the the word is it could have a 1.3 liter diesel series hybrid in the future.

Pretty interesting but I usually don't pay a whole lot of attention until the concept cars look much more production ready.

Provided the X-Head has a larger engine than my old Samurai (I think it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 66 hp) I'd drive it.
