My favorite travel bike: Honda Africa Twin. On the salt flats of Uyuni, Bolivia.

Purty bike. I'd hate to crash that in rocks.

Oh don't worry, it has been down on rocks, and mud and trees and various other sundry items plenty of times. If you skip to about 3:20 you will see one of many stupid crashes I have when I ride (yeah, I suck at it):

It's a dirt bike, that is what it is made for. The plastic gets scratched up a little, but it is easy and cheap to replace if it gets broken. It is the engine you don't want to put a dent or hole in, but that hasn't happened - yet.

I see that you have a camera mounted on your helmet, is there a remote shutter release or do you push the button with your left hand?

Good catch. Push Button on the Camera. Not much on and off necessary. It is a GOPRO HD camera. 2.5 hrs of battery life per battery, 32 gigs of memory per SD card for about 6 hrs of high def 60 fps video per card. Also can plug into the bike for unlimited power. Have several mounting places on the bike as well.

How hard is it to locate and manipulate the button while wearing motorcycle gloves at speed? Was it difficult to co-relate what the camera 'sees' and what you are looking to photograph?
