Done. Love the L track. I don't think I'm going to run drawers, the plastic totes work juuuuust fine and save a couple hundred dollars and ~50 lbs.

Total cost to do this was under $200 including the hardware, 3/4" baltic birch, l track, l track straps, and coating. Weighs about 30-40lbs.

And the roof rack is mounted. Hard to get much more low profile than this! The bungee wrap will kill any wind noise and works really well as an alternative to a deflector.

I saw you posted on imnosaints build about the smaller roof rack and I didn't want to highkack his thread lol. Did you get the 45x38 rack, is the bottom and mesh one piece? Also how well does the mesh hold up with weight on it? Thanks Pirate!

Well thanks photobucket for ruining all build threads lol.

Decided to finally start swapping on the swing out rear tire carrier. This will be a slow process but should have the garnish done tomorrow woth pics.
