Depending on how many factory blanks (positions where a switch could be installed and the blank just covers the position and is easily removed) came with your truck, you might be able to go to a junk yard and get some switches from a similar model and use these. This gives your rig a more professional look especially if you can get switches that serve teh purpose you want.

That's precisely what I did, only I had to buy my switches because I can never seem to find a Trooper in a junkyard....

So once you're past the decision of what light to buy you'll need to sort out the how's of wiring them?

I made some diagrams for a similar question on 'Mud. One of many ways to do the wiring:

I drew up two more variations and can post them as well if desired.
Can ignore the Master switch if desired. I included it as the 'Mud poster was looking for a way to have one. When you have a lot of auxiliary lighting, like in a real desert race pre-runner, it is nice to be able to kill all of the lights with one switch.
