Pocket style flares for 80 series Land Cruiser

Anyone interested in pocket style flares that bolt on from the outside? They are much more durable than OEM flares and are repairable if they are damaged.

Here is a link to the auction on ebay.

These will be made one set at a time for a while until start up costs are recovered. This first set and the 2nd set coming in a couple of weeks will fit 91-97 Land Cruisers, but only 91-92 mud flaps/running boards will bolt on without modification. The 3rd set to be sold will be a 93-97 set. It will be available in about 2 months and 93-97 mud flaps/running boards will bolt up to that version without modification.

These flares are hand made and supply will remain short for the remainder of the year. I am hoping that I can invest more into faster production as we go into next year...

That link didnt work.
Here you go:

Those are cool BTW, hope you get to go into full scale production
Thanks, I fixed the link. My main objective was to get my own flares and sell enough to pay for the high cost of producing them, but I have had a good amount of interest so we'll see how they go. I don't think there is enough of a market to ever go into automated production so it will always be one set at time, but if there is enough interest I might be able to have as many as 4 sets a month made after things get moving.

An agreement was reached to sell the first set of flares for a certain price in exchange for ending the auction. The 2nd set of flares should be available for sale by the end of this week/the begining of next week.

I've been told that the next set will be ready by Thursday. As soon as I ship the first set I will post up the next set with more detailed shipping information.

Sheesh, I don't know if I could justify spending 700 for them. I have been watching your thread on MUD and I am very interested in them though. Are you going to auction every set or sell for a set set price at some point?

I understand the frustration. I watched for Bushwhacker to introduce 80 series pocket flares for years. I wrote them several times. How great would it be to buy a set of these for $400-500? I would have bought some for sure if it would have been that easy.

That won't be the situation and I can't afford to sell the flares for $700. These flares are hand made one set at a time and I need to make enough money back to justify my investment of time and money. The next auction will start at a price higher than $700. My goal right now is to make enough money to cover my costs. After I do that, if there is still interest I will continue to sell them, but my cost per set is high and selling a set for less than $1000 does not make it worth it for me.

The 2nd set is listed with shipping to anywhere in North or South America.

The current set of flares are satin black. I'll get pictures of the flares in the new color up soon. Here is the current set at a lower price. Shipping isn't cheap, but local pick up in San Antonio or Austin would be free.

Still looking like the end of summer for the first set of 93-97 style flares, but they are coming along.
