A newbie here, been lurking amongst these great forums for quite a while but never posted.
Slowly building up my new Ford Ranger D/C 4x4 for family camping and holidays travelling around Europe etc. and while able to build the various bits and pieces in the rear (will post pics soon), am wanting decent bed to sleep in for me, wife and 1 child etc.
Narrowed it down to the Autohome roof-top tents and was wondering whether any recommendations for either of the ones I'm considering: Maggiolino Grand Tour (large) or Overland (large).
I like the Grand Tour as it sits within the vehicles 'footprint' I.e. does not protrude away from the car, downside is that only seems to have a 160cm mattress whereas the Overland large comes with a 180cm mattress, but protrudes from the side of the vehicle, and has no storage option like the Grand Tour.
Any advice / professonal suggestions from people that have used these tents?
