Pop-Up Camper buy....(Pro/Cons)

Very clean. I'd build a riser for the bottom of 2x2's in order to lift the camper up a bit on the Dodge. Some decent tiedowns would be recommended too.

I don't have a lot of cons. Mainly condensation mostly noticeable when it's cold outside and you run the heater at night, but you get that in a tent. Learning what you really need and figuring out how to store. The main pro for us is it gets us out more, much more. Heading to Death Valley for 10 days on Friday. We've gone from 3 to 4 camping trips a year mainly in the summer to year round camping getting out once a month at least. You can get to a lot of places especially if you have 4-wheel drive.

As far as toilets and shower, we don't have either inside. Our camper has an outside shower and we carry a PETT dry toilet and Wag bags. We do carry a privacy shelter for the shower/toilet but really don't use it too often. We haven't missed inside facilities.

As a pop up and past hard side and Class C owner I'll offer the following which mostly are based on my meandering experiences, thus IMO:

-I use less fuel hauling my pop up camper than I did with my old hard side and certainly my motor home.
-My pop takes more heater effort to keep warm than the other two. Actually it warms up fine it just cools quicker. In fairness I do not have an Arctic Pak for the soft side.
-Hauling my pop up down a two track road or no road is much easier, period.
-Inside storage was better in both the hard side and motor home.
-Dropping and using my pop up like a base camp trailer takes some effort as the floor is not built to use without support. My hard side could be used on the jacks alone though I always put it on the ground.

-As for toilet/shower my pop up is old and has neither. I've got work arounds and don't really miss indoor plumbing. My hard side had toilet/wet bath and MH toilet/dry bath. I did not care for the wet bath so rarely used it. Got the most use out of those amenities using those vehicles like hotel rooms at baseball tourney's, the county fair circuit, Mt. Rushmore and the like. I will suggest, IMO, if you plan to camp with the fairer sex and they are #1 not accustomed to dry camping and/or #2 your use may take you to sketchy camp grounds with poor facilities the bath shower equation becomes more important, really important.

Happly Holidays and best of luck....

nice/clean Pop-up

Don't wait, if the price is right=buy, this will fit your F350with no mods. it looks very clean, put the top up and look under the mattrest at the front corners for water stains/leaks.
I don't like the jacks if you plan to remove this camper often, the 4 corner jacks are safer. you will enjoy the roof A/C in the summer.nice under bed storage.=brian

Looks like a clean popup! I would take a pick tool or something sharp to poke the wooden structure of the camper in various places to check for rot.
