Looking for a fairing solution for my Canyon/OVRLND combo. Looked at the Colorado Fairing Co site and was turned off by needing crossbars and towers- seems like by now someone would have a simpler solution for a problem that's existed since people first starting sliding campers on to trucks in the days of yore.
I do like the low-profile aluminum roof racks that rivnut to the roof of the cab- I've seen some people mount larger fairings to those, but I only have 1.5" of space between the top of my cab and the bottom of the cabover. also can't find any short enough. Yes, thought about cutting one in half but can't cut it short enough and keep the middle mounting holes. Might be switching to an AT Summit which would expand the cabover gap to 3.5" but still might not be high enough.
Anyone ever fab'd up some angled brackets that you could rivnut to the roof, or some other clean solution that doesn't look like some jerry-rigged Mad Max contraption?
