Looking for recommendations for a cover for my 1996 Starcraft Sportstar pop up truck camper...no snow worrie, some rain...mostly SUN protection. this camper has lived moat of its life indoors. Now parked in driveway...Any thoughts?

Costco has "tent garages" for sale quite reasonably that are sturdy.
Of course they might not look great in front of your house on your driveway, but side or back yard might be acceptable?

Just a thought, and well worth what you paid for it... ;-)

I bought a Camco cover on Amazon that's worked very well. I have it cinched up all the way to make it fit the small popup, but it works. In fact, I leave the camper popped up so the cover doesn't sit on the ground. For very little money, I figured I'd give it a go/better than nothing. Matches your needs well: sun, rain, dust and debris. Definitely not a winter cover (mines going in the garage in a few weeks).

Camco 45771 16.5' ULTRAGuard Slide-In Camper Cover (78"LC x 108"HB x 44"HC x 106"W) by Camco http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0024E67FW/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_n4Jtub065JT5M

I'll try to remember to take a photo and post it up for reference.

That's a Northstar TC650 under there, with top cranked up.

Why do you say it's not a winter cover? Too thin?
THe Amazon ad specifically mentions winter use and snow? Are they embellishing too much?
I need to get a cover for my Alaskan.
Thx

Definitely "overstating" the durability. We had a proper wind storm this weekend and one of the velcro loops attaching to the jack legs tore off. I think a whole winter of blowing, freezing, dripping and re-freezing would tear this cover to shreds. Again, I'm happy with it for fair weather and by saving it through the winter by storing indoors, I'm sure it'll be just fine for a few years.

For all of our RV's I use heavy duty white poly tarps, the ones that are about $80 or $90 bucks for a 20 x 24. They outlast $300 RV covers from the store that shall not be named, and as long as you cinch them up really tight with lots of bungees they will last through about two winters before they start to tear.

I use these on boats, hard side campers, and travel trailers right now. When my new custom pop up gets here, it's going to get the same treatment.
