Great photos and report. Haven't been to Comb Wash in a few years. But with over 18 inches of snow in my yard, making a trip south sounds enticing.

We were at that same camping spot under those trees with the big log for two nights this September. We didn't tie the garbage bag up high enough the second night, and somebody came by during the night and managed to scrape at the bottom of the bag.

It is definitely big country out there, and certainly has some critters running around. I had a rodent steal an entire container of season salt on one trip...the mouse equivalent of an ant I suppose...
