portable gas fire pit

I recently bought a Camplux portable gas fire pit, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our camping gear. It's incredibly easy to set up and use, plus it eliminates the hassle of gathering firewood and dealing with smoke. We use a small propane tank, which lasts several hours. It's perfect for making s'mores and enjoying a cozy evening by the fire without worrying about leaving a trace.

You hit on everything I was going to mention perfectly.

I have had the LavaBox for a couple years and loved it but I just received the Ignik as a gift this spring and honestly I’ve been using the Ignik more due to all your reasons but mainly due to my 10# tank lasting longer. Make sure to get the rocks they sell with it.
I've got the brickette-looking rocks they sell, but haven't used them. Do you just leave them in the thing? Do they make a mess?

I have a Camp Chef fire pit and it's okay I suppose. I've lost respect for Camp Chef stuff after having to replace o-rings in the valves on my firepit and ordered a new regulator for my Expedition stove as the original would ignite at the regulator attachment just above the propane bottle.

I also have a Volcano which I like much better. It doesn't have lava rocks, but it does fold down nicely, and you can use it as a grill or a firepit with gas, wood or charcoal.

O love the fire pit flame action and btu aspect of the lava box. I wish there was a grill insert for cooking over the flame like the fire can deluxe.
