possible alternative to sand ladders ($ max trax $)

i was on amazon to day a came across the Erapro TAS. it is meant for the snow but i thought it might do well as a general traction aid. has any one here had experience with these? at $24 bucks i may pick up a set just to try.

Well, my $.02 is in the sand those would probably just sink in and not offer any traction. In packed snow it would probably be a different story. In deep snow drifts I'm thinking it would simply sink down until it hit packed snow.

Automotive ADHD is fun!
only 2' long... I guess they're better than nothing if you don't have much space. And the price is much righter than many other options, but not all that much less than buying fiberglass grid stuff off eBay.
