I know you've had some issues with that thing, but for God's sake stay the course. The only thing rivaling the coolness of that would be a similar vintage Scout , Landcruiser, or Rover, and you've pretty much have that one sorted!

The issues are nothing new, as of next month I will have been wrenching on this thing for 9 years. I've put around 30,000 miles on it. I would say i'm well beyond an "Issue" being the reason I ever abandon it. There isnt much I havent been through before on it and wouldnt be able to do again if the need arose.

If I move a different direction, it'll likely just be because of a lifestyle change, and the vehicle or overall experience not fitting me anymore. We'll see.
