I'm enjoying all the great information and pictures here very much. I figure that I've been lurking long enough, so this is my first post.

Brown: My YJ - February 28, 2009 At the top end of Reed Creek trail in VA. It has a Groundpounder Fab Rear Bumper and a freshly rebuilt 4.2L engine. The plan is to do a 2" shackle lift, 1 1/4" BL, add sway bar discos, fit some 31s, and some armor too. I also plan on removing the factory gauges and putting the mechanical ones currently under the dash now in a new dash panel.

Yellow: Fiancee's TJ - July 2010, on the trail at Snowshoe Mtn, WV. 2" BB, 1" BL, JKS Discos, 31s, and some armor.

Be well,
Richard

I have had the good fortune to own a couple of excellent Jeeps to both tackle the difficult trails and do some great exploring. The first was a 95 ZJ that I owned for 13 years. Over time did a lot of "stuff" to it. The major things:
Dana 50 front
Dana 60 rear
both w/ARB lockers
Clayton Long Arms
241 Tcase
Trailready bumpers
Warn winch
305/75/16 BFG AT on Rubicon wheels
supercharger, headers
and a bunch of other stuff

After 13 years and 150,000 miles the ZJ is sold by not forgotten!!

In 2008 I purchased a 2006 TJ Unlimited Rubicon. It is proving to be a very capable trail and exploration vehicle. Some of the stuff done:
-Full Traction 6" Long Arms
-Garvin Bumpers
-Warn Powerplant winch
-315x75x16 on American Racing ATX wheels
-lots of steel underneath
-GenRight 31.5 Gal gas tank

Thethinginthewoods, what size tires are you running on the camo xj?

They are the old BFG mud-terrains. 33"x12.5"x15. I also had a set of bald 35"x12.5"x16" BFG all-terrains, but i recently traded them for a new snowboard & bindings.

As soon as my current tires wear out, i'm planning on getting a set of 35" kevlar Goodyears.
