Im a Jeep salesmen. There was no "LJ" build code. The long wheel base wrangler was just a different sequence of code after the "TJJH77,.....". For example the build code for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport is, JKJM74. this is 2 or 4 door. No matter what the Dubbed name is, its stills nick name. Just my 2 cents cuz im a nerd ... lol.
Just want to point this out, on the bottom of the grill on my LJ there is a plate that has the VIN number on it; it says "LJ" on it. If I was home I'd take a picture to share with you. I've seen this come up on debate a few times.
Ah look, I found a picture online.
Anyway, here is my 2005 LJ. Slowly building it up for long distance traveling off road. For purposes of camping. I wouldn't call it "expedition" but, away from people.
Future plans include a fairly small list of:
-Font D44 (Superior axle shafts, ARB locker and Vanco's 15" brake kit)
-Superior axle shafts and ARB locker for the rear
-Spyderlock 15" beadlocks. Powder coated all black
-AEV 4.5" springs
-Outboard rear shocks
-Rokmen's tummy tuck with engine/trans skid
-Novak SYE
-35" Goodyear MTRs with Kevlar
-Garvin roof rack
-Kilby OBA
-GenRight's Safari gas tank (31 freakin gallons! I'm gonna hate the gas station)
-New front and rear driveshafts and shocks (once I figure out the sizes needed)
-CJ tailgate
-Savvy LED tail lights
-Rokmen corner armor (to mount the rear of the roof rack to)
-Electric radiator fan
-Dual batteries
-Work lights for around the camp sight mounted to the roof rack)
-Bunch of other silly little things.
That's all for now. Bye.
