well i have been lurking on here for a bit gathering some really useful info. Decided to finally join and heres my xj. i have only made trips in maine so far, but my wife and i are trying to get our things together to get out and experience more next year.

man, you would never catch me rocking a Gobi rack. they look nice, but imo it is a HUGE waste of cash. I will be doing a performance rebuild of my 4.0 gaining an extra 60+ hp and 75+ ft. lb of tq for the same price if not cheaper as one little rack that I could pay someone to bend up for a HELL of a lot cheaper if I wasn't going to use my pops tube bender and do it myself...

to each his own though. if you have to cash to blow go for it, just hate when I see people complain about not being able to do important stuff and they are running around with a $1200+ roof rack.... :rantoff: i'm going to bed now
