Brooke

she may have no motor, and I may have no $$ to get her running right now, doesn't mean I can't baby her still.

I just realized I hadn't posted in this thread yet.

'07 JKU with Rock Krawler 2.5" max travel lift (w/1" spacers), Bilstein 5100s, 35x12.50R17 mud grapplers on Spyderlock wheels, Shrockworks sliders, front and rear bumpers, dual batteries, OBA, sPOD, and other miscellaneous things I'm sure I'm forgetting.

2005 Jeep TJ - Expedition Build

Hey guys, kind of new to the whole online forum thing. I posted this info already in my Jeep build, but figured I might get some input here as well.

I am getting out of the Army as my friend is. In a year and some change we are driving around the world in my Jeep. From Florida and finishing in New Zealand.

Here are some mods and pics so far:

2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Mileage: 41K
Stock transfer case, motor (inline six), and transmission (manual)
JKS front and rear lower control arms, reinforced uppers
JKS front and rear track bars
JKS drag link and tie rod, which where cut in half and sleeved and welded back together
Bilstein shock absorbers all the way around
Bilstein steering stabilizer
Warn gas tank skid, radiator skid, transmission/oil pan skid plates
Posion Spyder rocker rails, front fender flares and rear corners
33 inch x 11.5 inch Goodyear Kevlar M/T tires
Posion Spyder trail cage
Corbeau front seats with 5 point harnesses
ARB air lock front and rear
ARB twin air compressor with custom hard lining to use air tool components
Gobi Ranger roof rack
(2) Metal NATO jerry cans
Superchips Trail Dash programmer
DANA 44 rear axle with yukon 4.56 gearing
DANA super 30/30 front axle (Axle is from a WJ)
Front and rear 30 spline chromoly axle shafts
Toms woods front and rear drive shafts w/SYE kit
Inside of the whole Jeep and hardtop is Line-x'd

Future consideration for mods:

River Raider off road breather hose extension kit, which is used from water crossing, connects to the rear axle, transfer case, tranny, front axle and your airbox to keep water out of those components
On board welder
Metal storage bin to hold tools and kit in the back of the vehicle
Tent on top of the roof rack
Duel Optima battery setup

First, thank you for your service! I am so happy that you are able to to take such a great adventure! I would be jealous but since you have served our country you deserve it way more :)

Second, beautiful work. Is that a custom snorkel?

Thank you and yes/no. It is a River Raider Expedition Snorkel, but I extended it out myself with PVC.

Why are the flags backwards?

Why are the flags backwards?

That infra-red patch is designed to be worn on the right shoulder. In this case the union will point forward. To display the flag correctly on the seats the flag should be vertical with the union on the left.
