I've owned it just over a year and have been replacing parts as I can afford. It was purchased new by the State Hwy Dept of Illinois for use in our Capitol hence the different interior, it has some aspects of the police package and not others. It's kind of a rare bird. I initially though because of the good overall condition that it led a pampered and well maintained life as the daily driver of a high muckity muck in the dept. I'm finding that was a naive notion. It has 160k hard earned lotsa idling miles. It's grown on me though and I'll get it all lined out and slowly restore it to its former glory. :).

That's a pretty heavy load to be supported by the hardtop. are there internal braces that attach the roll bars or is the whole tent just attached to the fiberglass hardtop?

Unless there is another identical Wrangler owned by Bushwacker, I had the privilege of riding in this Wrangler at the the 2014 Ouray Jeep Jamboree on the Stony Pass Trail run. I met some very fine people from Bushwacker and was really impressed with how well this Wrangler was set up and performed on the trail. Riding in this Wrangler also allowed my 17 year old daughter to drive my Wrangler by herself on this trail. I almost didn't get MY Wrangler back...

Seeing this Wrangler brings back some memories of a good time on the trails in Colorado.

Rack Attack in Portland, Or Yakima product installed w/o internal support - only into hardtop. I'm 250lbs and lived on this setup for over five months - no issues. Even while pushing air at 80 mph on US interstate, or 70 mph on Stewart-Cassier throughout B.C., Yukon and Ak.

My WJ, Audi A4, and my cousin's 99 XJ sport he just dropped off for me to sell (he just bought a 2012 VW GTI)

I'm going to clean it up some, try to fix a couple of it's glaring faults cheaply, and hopefully make a few bucks. For selling it for him we're splitting the profit.

I think that's a better way as well. Plus the footprint makes sense because your likely to have space behind you where just pulled in from.
