Short weekend getaway in the wife's '18 JK.

I love both the wheels and the dog. That Aussie looks ready to chase squirrels, and the Jeep looks eager to follow.

Here's my latest highlight, from last week on the South Fork of the Kern River in California; Olancha Peak showing prominently in the background. I've got a ton of photos from my 5 day trip, so after some editing hopefully I can get a thread posted for y'all.

God that thing is gorgeous. Looks like she was done right.

Put together a nice route from the DC area out towards Front Royal VA, trying to utilize as many gravel roads as possible. Made for a more fun drive.

Thanks! Yes, it is. Originally I was going to mount my Foxwing but it wouldn't clear the garage?

I changed out my previous bumper that weighed 115lbs to this Armor Lite, that weighs somewhere in the 40lbs range. Much more plain looking, but that is what I like.

Here's mine - it's most of the way there. I was thinking about selling when I bought my ZR2 so stopped upgrading for a while but in the end I decided I couldn't part with it. So now thinking about interior storage, on board air, maybe gearing and more suspension work.

The "new" XJ after ~ 10 hours of elbow grease, probably another 4 to go before rehab is complete.

Lived in the Raleigh, NC area all its life, its lack of rust rivals any 100k mile CA Jeep.

It was specifically ordered for a customer when new: Classic package, UpCountry suspension/skids, overhead console, towing package/heavy duty cooling.
At some point it also received an OME lift, so it sits 2" higher than a stock, non-UpCountry XJ, and a pair of TruckLites. Just received a fresh set of 245/70/16 KO2s.
