I've been to Shoe Creek twice with the jeep, everytime I go, I get a little further... This last trip in october I made it a mile or so past where the AT crosses.

Hi! I'm new here...

Wow... Finally made it to the end.

Seeing this post kinda makes me wish I would have gotten the WK as opposed to the MK that I ended up with. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers..

Some front yard poser shots:

The Girlfriend and I have been out exploring Ohio and I have plans for my little Jeep. First things to get added are probably an RTT (Still researching those), and a 2" lift and Rock Rails, then maybe some new shoes...

So far all of our overlanding has been single day excursions as we have 6 dogs at home and no one that can come watch them for us...

I'm a Ham Radio operator that works a few multi day events per year so being able to sleep in style wouldn't hurt anything...

I can use the Sunrider, however it isnt quick and easy as before. You have to pull out the wrenches and hinge the rack back to do it. I plan to get a Hardtop so I can just remove the Freedom panels without having to unbolt the rack. I really enjoy being able to open up the roof, so installing the rack was a tough decision. But for the capability increase, it is worth it.

You could also look into the original Trektop, not the Trektop NX. The original one has a top that rolls back instead of flipping back. However the rest of the top is inferior to the NX so not sure the trade off would be worth it for you.
