Nope, those are ROK Straps... if you've ever used them, you know how stout they are. Learned about them through a buddy thats an Adventure Rider, and has used them riding dirt bikes all over the US and Canada.

Even used them to hold the Maxtrax like this...

Towed the vintage boat 180 miles to the coast this past weekend. This is one of the main duties the ZJ was bought to perform, and it handled it beautifully. This is also why the trail mods won't get too crazy on this vehicle.

New guy here with a '95 XJ. It's in the shop right now getting prepped for my first multi-day trip in it; 5 days solo in the South Sierra Nevada mountains for my birthday and solstice. Hope to grab some better shots while I'm out there, but in the meantime here are a few shots from my first shakedown and a little local day-trip a couple months back. I've got a lot of work into this car already, and the list somehow just keeps getting longer. Wish me luck...

Yup, one of many bad decisions by the previous owners. That dent is the reason I mentioned sliders, the tire rubbing is why I called out bump stops. I haven't even shown you the torn vinyl seats or cracked dashboard yet.
