So how did you determine Brooklands vs. BRG? I have a 95 LWb and I "think" it is BRG. Beautiful Setup. Are those Disco steel rims? I have a set of Wolf's I will be installing on mine.

First post here, and first truck. I come from the world of track days and old Bimmers in general. Picked this up Monday night...

A bunch of bad news today.

#1, my 2004 needs the front cover pulled to replace a bad oil pump.

#2 my 1995 blew its transmission cooler line out in the Chihuahua desert -- cherry on top was that it was on its maiden voyage after I spent the better part of a year getting it kitted out JUST the way I wanted it. Not a major deal in terms of repair but just... demoralizing as I heard the news about the 2004 literally two hours prior. Fortunately I have ridiculously good recovery insurance (USAA) and I won't pay a dime.

It's a really, really tough day to be a Rover owner. I'm without a vehicle this weekend because BOTH MY **************** LAND ROVERS literally died on me on the same day. I bought TWO of these trucks because of exactly this situation. And now they're both sitting in shop bays. PM etc etc I've done it. Just bad luck. And I'm not competent enough to pull a front cover in my apartment complex parking lot.

The saddest part is that it's still the only truck I'd ever consider driving.

We're all insane, boys.

Things could be worse....well....no....no they couldn't.

I kid, I kid...

The next time you are ensconced in the perfect Roverness (/GM Dieselness) of that beast of yours you won't even remember this day...
Good luck with the repairs Amigo.

P.S. Buy a vstrom as a back up.

Best,
DB

Our trucks don't even need oil or tranny coolers. Anyways I fixed my tranny cooler on the trail with some radiator hose and two clamps.

Man Felix, that is tough luck for sure. Need a cycle carrier for the KTM ;-) And it certainly does look good on the flatbed- especially that CT rack!!
