I haven't posted any pictures of my Rover in a while, mainly because we were going through a little bit of a rough patch and contemplating divorce.
On my way back from Colorado in March, she decided she didn't want to support my off-roading habit anymore. She dropped to the frame in Dalhart, TX...seemingly a million miles from nowhere (at least at 5:30 on a Friday). To drive the steak even further into my heart, she decided not to speak or sing to me anymore either. We limped to Amarillo for a good rest, depending solely on the faint sound of music from the iPad to help pass the time. We then drove the rest of the 750 miles to Little Rock, AR, where I had Ian Menenna at British Unlimited yank out the air suspension and replace with springs.
My plan was really to get a divorce, but I still loved her and wanted to see if we could work out our relationship. I did some research and found a wiring harness and radio installation kit from England. After the installation of the new springs my hope was being renewed, and our relationship was on the mend.
Today we finished our counseling session at California Customs in Fort Smith, where she regained her voice and her desire to sing sweet music as we continue to glide along through life.
