Aluminess roof rack for Econoline...

Hello,
Some folks might recognize this van, picked up and driven home to NJ from Washington recently. Our shakedown trip helped us conclude that we want to fit a High Roof to the van so the Aluminess roof rack (and all attachments) are for sale.

Included are the front LED light bar, Fiamma awning, high lift jack (we have one already), rear spot lamp (currently wired to activate in reverse) and flooring panels.

$1800, located in New Jersey.

I'm curious about the tank if you still have it.

Where was it mounted and how did you fill it?

Still have it. I mounted it below between the frame rail and body. I had a side hatch that allowed me to fill it.

I need to take a look under mine to figure out where it would go. Is it tucked up enough for the bottom feed to be well out of the way of rocks? Might need a little skid plate. I do have dual filler necks for a transfer flow tank I don't use anymore and may be able to use that plumbing for the fill neck.

A separate question. How do you like your hood vents? I've considered them for my 7.3l and wonder if you have any real world numbers on under hood temps going down.

I posted my whole van previously. I'd love some feedback, I expected more interest than I'm getting https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/2001-econoline-e350-7-3-power-stroke-diesel.235855/
Forums were the best way to exchange information and swap gear for special interests groups that the world has ever seen

Facebook and reddit killed them and offer very little value in return
Just not enough people left here anymore for the critical mass needed for a community

^^^ totally agree. I miss all the forums I use to participate on. The amount of useful info still outweighs anything on fb, there’s just rarely any useful updates anymore :(

that said, I ended up with a Fiamma F65s awning I can’t use. I believe it’s the 10.6 model. It measures right about 11’ long. From what I can find these retailed for $1k and this one has the $500.00 motor upgrade. I know it’s history and has had very little use over the years. I don’t have anywhere that I can mount it to show it fully setup with the legs deployed but I do have a vid of us opening it at ground level I can share. Not sure if I can post it ir not, but worst case I can post a Dropbox link. I do have a new motor cover, it’s just a weak design and I didn’t want it to get broke moving it around. It’s got a few small stains on the canvas but they are very minimal. They look to be bird crap stains. I didn’t scrub, I just wiped it down to get a pic.

$1100.00 sound fair? The replacements for this old style f65 are the f80 and the F65Eagle. Both those units are closer to 2k new. Located in boise, Idaho. Please pm to haggle price/make offers.

Offering some van seats, free to forum members.

Rear power bed bench from conversion van. Size as bed is 55”wide 60”long 17”high.
As seat it is 40” long with the rear portion folded. Could easily add up to 14” of length by rebuilding the rear portion, making it a usable length for an adult. Power base (controls suck), but easy to convert to manual.

Also have 4 matching captains chairs. Two have floor quick release (plate included). Two have no bases. I can upload pics when I get them out of storage.

Local pickup near Annapolis MD

That’s a great option for someone. I’ve got a functionally similar bench seat in my Crestline ambulance. I can easily seat 7 and still carry everyone’s gear. The setup works great.

For extra comfort I have a queen size memory foam topper that I use for extended trips.

I saw this at LKQ in Charleston SC. Have no idea what it would cost although I would think it would be reasonable. Looks to be in ok condition and is on a 9 passenger Ford DDEC5EC6-959B-461F-A44E-6A707C8AB5E6.jpegBEF046C1-0DAF-46FE-BF79-BAF368D688BF.jpegD754DB16-3F64-45CC-83FB-B397E327EA3B.jpeg.
