It only looks that way now...after we plowed our way to it with a logging skidder. We got over a foot locally in New Hampshire on Thanksgiving eve, along with loss of power for over 200,000 residents. The part that amazed me was that I slid perfectly sideways. I wish I would have taken a picture of the track...it was perpendicular to the truck.
Impressive snow fall. Like I said in another thread, glad you and your Monty got out relatively unscathed. I slid into a ditch once in similar fashion, though it was in my wife's Dodge Neon, which has no tow points. I finally got out, but it required a couple front suspension parts and an alignment.

Beautiful photos Nathan. I think its time for sliders.

Perhaps, but as you may recall, I acquired the Montero without single unbent body panel on it so crumpling the rocker arms is no big deal! Besides which, its money I would rather use for gas getting out on the trail!

Don't forget to put the stump of the Christmas tree at the front, don't want the wind to destroy the top of the tree

Yeah I always put the stump forward. Ha ha. But this is the first year going in the Gen 3. It was pretty comfortable off roading with her. We usually go into the mountains and get a tree out there. Tree permit is only $10. Plus the dogs love going out.

You guys are making me miss our yearly family Christmas tree hunt out in the Colorado mountains. Going to a tree farm here in Michigan sure doesn't sound like fun comparatively.
