Found this perusing PHX craigslist:

No mention of whether it is 4x4 (unlikely) but otherwise it seems to be a pretty good start.

On a whim I looked in my area. Here's one that is 4x4.

1979 4x4 C30 53000 original miles. Runs great. I just put new batterys in it. All the lights work. Even the flashing ones. Just had an oil change. Bought classic plates for it. Never have to buy tabs again. The interior and exterior are in great shape. No rust or dents. Tons of lights an intercom and lots of neat extras. I'm offering this for sale before I gut the stuff from the interior and keep it. I need a cargo van. $2000 Firm NO trades. Please only contact me if you are serious and have the funds. Yeah, that's one of those IDI mechanical diesel's right? I'm thinking those are much more appropriate for an expo truck than a powersuck.

Yes, 7.3 IDI.

Though I dont quite follow your other comment. The 7.3 Powerstroke is a superior plant. Better mileage, better drivability, just as long lived, and more power, with nearly unlimited room for modifications.

Still, a 7.3 IDI in a van is a great plant, it just isnt anywhere near a Powerstroke.

Hey! I saw this in description. But miss a year. I know that powerstroke 7.3 is version with turbo and direct injection.

Correct write is "7.3 international diesel"
