dressed missed world record in weight by 4 pounds.

Wow, isn't that about twice what a normal bear weighs here in the east? I've seen some bears in the Adirondaks and Southern NY that are big but not that big.

What a couple of bruisers. I heard at the PA Game Commission bear check station for our area that the 800 lbs bear was taken by bow.

We dropped a 350 lbs bear Saturday and it was a "bear" to haul out without snow, I can't imagine hauling one of those bears without a skidder and set of chokers.

Near Wallenpaupack lake Pa was other bear what was all most like a pet in

GREEN TOWN Community feed by members as he chase deers a way , was

shut by the same type Hero 8-(

Bears ain't pets and a large bear like this in a community (assuming it actually was in said community) is a nuisance and problem waiting to happen. Feeding a bear is just damn foolish and folks who do so ignore the realities of a bear's instinct and nature. Folks should approach all wildlife with some actual knowledge about the animals they interact with and not base their beliefs and opinions on fuzzy warm feelings and animated animal movies.

this very bear used to come by my inlaws cabin about 10 miles from where he was killed.
