Powdercoat or rattle can?

My Jeep is about 15 years old now (my time, not its time) and I keep thinking I'll paint it when I get done modifying it. Since thats not likely to happen in my lifetime I'll just keep using the rattle guns.

This thread has made up my mind about having my rear swing-away bumper NOT powdercoated! I originally was going to but was waffling between rattle can. Just have to use that Rustoleum Enamel it seems!

Ive used Krylon Appliance Epoxy in a rattle can for years now. It shines and is easy to touch up. Its so durable that I convinced a friend to paint his CJ-7 with it, and he even color sanded it when it was done. It looks BETTER than the stock paint!

Heck, I even used it to coat an air receiver I made for Disney's Splash Mountain.

I vote for rattle can......since that's what a majority of my truck is now painted with. Quick, easy, & inexpensive to touch-up. Suppose it really depends on how you are using your rig too, mine gets beat up regularly, so powder coating isn't a viable option for me. When I originally did my front axle swap I used POR-15 on everything, now I cuss it regularly when I have to do some welding on my frame and every time I do work it's gets painted pack with the good 'ole rattle can.

bedliner gets my vote

i'd have to say the same, we coated the entire cab of my buddies truck in Herculiner bed liner, its really simple to use, just scuff the surface and roll it on, that simple and its tough as nails, doesn't scratch easily and i'm considering doing my rocker panels in it
