hey guys, i would like to have a power inlet connected to my overlander so that I can easily connect a trickle charger. would like something that i dont need to open doors/hood so ideally an inlet fitted tot he outside of the vehicle. possibly i could even use it as an outlet if I wanted? anything you found is ideal? should be able to handle at least 10A . leaning towards something like this:

How about just the standard 2-pin quick connects, they make rubber caps for them too.

I cut the alligator clamps off my chargers and install those inline, so I can plug in to an existing 2 pin or just use clamps on the terminals when I need to

There is that one. I need to get one for solar input through my topper.

As far as a trickle charger. I use a CTEK 7002 for charging duties. It came with a pigtail that is compatible with the chargers plug (also comes with alligator clips) to attach to the battery. I guess you could probably extend the lines so you wouldn't have to lift the hood, but I just lift the hood.

Hope this helps

I just installed a 120v inlet similar to what our ambulances and fire trucks uses on one of my fenders. It powers my charger (ctek 7002 installed) if parked indoors, and can run my charger, block heater, and battery heater as well if plugged in and below freezing.

Nice! I have this NOCO inlet into my topper to a lithium battery charger for the house lithium battery. Use the other plug for whatever AC needs while camping if AC is available. Works well

I'm not sure if you wanted a 12vdc or 110vac connection from your post. If 110vac I use a NOCO that others have mentioned. If you are looking for 12vdc, trolling motor connectors are a good choice for up to 70 amp
