My power steering keeps going out while making turns on my 05 f150, Could it be the pump is going, I have a 106,000 miles on her now. Bought it with 105,000 miles.

You might try flushing out the old fluid and replacing it with new oem fluid first. I did that on my old Plymouth minivan. You can take a turkey baster and suck the fluid out and refill with new fluid. Do that four or five times over a week of use and it should flush out 90% of the old fluid. That's the way I did it and the van steered like new. If you know of a competent garage that does it with their machine, better yet. It just might need a new pump.

I've had two trucks in the past that have had that symptom and flushing the fluid eliminated the problem. I would also prefer a name brand fluid like Royal Purple. Good luck.

Drain (turkey baster or pulling the return line from the cooler) and put in a quality ps fluid. Personally, I'm a fan of Redline as its done very well against cavitation.
