Power Windows in a 78 Series Troopy?

Any relatively easy way to get power windows into a 78 series Troopy?

Reason being I'd like to put some good speakers in the doors eventually, and I'd like to keep them above the high water mark when it gets flooded, so as high as possible in the doors, like where the manual window winder handle is.

It would be useful for me if I could get rid of the manual winder handle and put power windows in instead.

Thanks,
Simon

Easiest way would just be to buy the doors off an RV model, which has power windows.

If you went to a wrecker the actual winder parts may well bolt into your current doors.

It's kinda wierd driving a troopy with carpet floor and electric windows, but we have some at work.

Thanks Sean.

Yes, I have found out from other forums that the RV model is the one to look for.

Also found out that the RV doors do not have the quarter window/vent that my non-RV troopy has, so I don't know if it will be a bolt in replacement to my doors, or if I'll need whole new doors.

Others thought that the lack of the quarter window/vent with the power windows might be to reduce the friction of having parallel channels on each side of the window, which would give resistance to the operation of the power window mechanism, in much the same way that some 70 series manual winding windows are very hard to wind up/down.

Have to track them down at a wreckers and see if they will bolt in or not, or maybe just go for the whole doors.
