FOR SALE: Smittybilt Scout Trailer with Odin Designs Type S
**Update** Post Cyber Monday deal ......dropping the price on the trailer/tent combo. Great value and perfect set up to customize the trailer how you see fit with out anyone tinkering with it. Included some new pictures as well.
Location: Murrieta, CA
Description: Smittybilt Scout Trailer that was professionally built by 4x4 Shop in Fort Collins Colorado. Has just under 6k miles on it and has never been truly "off road" to test the trailers limits, mostly National Parks, National Forrests, and States Parks. Was ordered with the full size spare option. Great trailer, our family has really enjoyed it. Haven't done any modifications, we are the second owners first owner never had the chance to take it out before he sold it to me.
Odin Designs Type S Roof Top Tent, it is their "3 person" tent but it sleeps 4 adults, we currently have Costco memory foam pad that is a king size this is slightly smaller than the actually foot print. (Memory foam pad will not be included). The RTT is very similar to the Tepui ruggedized models, ie has the diamond plate bottom, anti-condensation mat, 3 inch pad. Has dual "stargazing" windows, with mesh zip screens as well as the rainfly has the protected windows. Includes an annex room that has a removable zipper floor, has mesh panels that increase airflow below. Tent has done amazing in some heavy down pours as well as large chunk of snow. Zero leaks and with the right warming layers, made the trips even more memorable!
Price: $8,000 $7,000
Known Problems:
Trailer: The front swing stabilization arm with wheel will not crank, was broken by previous owner. Just use one of the other 2 stabilizers. No other issues with trailers.
RTT: Missing velcro on two of the tie down cinch straps, still cinches tight with no issues just tuck the excess behind the strap itself. No other issues with tent.
