Primitive camping near Zion National Park by Hwy 9 & 89

I might be a little late on this, but on 89 just south of Zion (towards Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park) there are a lot of places.
Basically pick a dirt road and find whatever you think looks nice.

Or if you don't mind paying you can hit up Sand Hollow State Park (a little outside Zion near Hurricane, UT) you can camp right on the beach.

Wherever you end up be careful, there have been a lot of rattle snake sightings this year. Even swimming in the lake at Sand Hollow.
