I know this forum trends towards DIY, but I'm in a weird spot and am looking for reputable van builders that work on low roof cargo vans like the Express and Econoline.
I previously owned a 2008 Express AWD that I converted myself (using a lot of info from this forum). This van was unfortunately destroyed by the Marshall Fire (Boulder, CO) in late December of last year.
I'm considering replacing it, but no longer have the tools or time to do so myself, and am instead looking for a van builder (or builders) that can help me do 2 things:
1) Give me some ballpark idea of what the old one was worth. I have numbers in my head, but need more substantial basis to make my case to the insurance company.
2) Price a new build, so I can determine if replacing it after settling with insurance is possible.
Companies I've talked to so far are reluctant to help with #1. In my view #2 + with depreciation added is essentially the same thing. Either way, if you've come across companies that know low roof vans, post up!
