Well since the weather was actually nice today i took advantage of it and got some stuff done of my truck...

First i FINALLY got all the duraback stripped out. This has been a process that i hope NEVER to repeat. Since i got all it out i Painted the pan.

After the paint was dry. (and a trip to Home depot to get more paint) i got to work installing my eDead sound deadening mat, now my truck looks like a freaking spaceship!

after i got it in, i already noticed the difference in sound. Which i'm happy about as long as it continues to make a noticeable difference when driving.

While taking breaks between this and that i also got to work on my sliders. Made out of 1.5"x3" @3/16" I'm really happy with the clearance they keep. and i can't believe how much easier they are than rover sliders.

still have some capping to do, and paint but they should be done pretty quick.

Got some other minor projects done, found a bunch of stuff that needed paint.

On the table for next weekend... Finish Sliders, Get foam and carpet in, Get the dash put back together. Start work on the cargo box, and start work on the axle rebuild. Sigh... the never ending project...

on those sliders, how did you go about measuring the angle and length, etc, of that first leg? I want to make my own and am wondering about that.
