This build is inspired by the amazing travels and builds of the Expedition Overland Crew! I have owned a Colorado, a JK, and now my dream truck… i bought my 2013 Tacoma Access Cab with TRD rims, 32" Duratracs, and Yakima bars for my Tepui Kukenam tent in June, and haven't done much to it.. But i am starting to built it slowly in stages.

Stage 1

Leveling Spacers
ARB Winch Bumper
ARB onboard air
RTT, Trauma Kit, Tons of Camping equipment

Stage 2

OME 2.5" Lift
Dakar leafs
Custom Bed Rack
ARB Fridge
Gerry Can mounts
Tire Carrier

So installed my ARB Bumper today, still have to wire the Fogs/ Signals in, but so far i am so happy with the look of it! Still have to install the Levelling spacers and find a winch, but its coming together well! Also have some Lightforce 240 Blitz on it! photo ARB Front.jpgphoto ARB .jpgphoto ARB2.JPG

That bumper looks pretty mean on that truck. I also love that red color, should look good as you build it up!

I'll be following your build rather closely - since my plans for my 2013 Tacoma are very similar to yours - and since I live in Edmonton too LOL.

Never heard of TEAOA before but I'll be registering soon.

Seems like there's so many new groups and forums that start and die around here that it's hard to keep track of them all.

I'm predominantly a Jeep guy but we did buy an fzj80 this summer and it's definately growing on me...

Hmm.. Thinking about going through Banff on the way back to Washington State (I drove out to Rhode Island for the holidays...).

Am I crazy?

Nice build, like the wheels..

What are you planning on for a rear bumper?

Here's my junk:

Love the rack man! Im planning on either buying the all pro one, or custom building one this spring.. But definitely go through banff, beautiful country.
And nice TOYOTA decals on your tailgate!! Looks mint

Might just have to detour up there.. Pretty sure that route will be do-able this time of year. Imagine it'll be a lot like the Alcan..

Custom rack.. Hmm.. Might be able to help you out. Built mine out of 1.5" HREW Tubing

Designed it to tie into the bed bolts; unlike the All-Pro design that uses pieces of angle to sit on the bed sides. In fact, don't think any of the major manufacturers produce one that doesn't use the bed sides. Heard of quite a few instances where the plastic bed sides have buckled from having weight on them; they're just not skookum enough to support a tent/people/etc..

Jeverich, are you talking highway 93 west of banff to jasper? Definitely doable, just know that there is nothing open along the way as far as gas/lodging.
