Hey Everyone!
I've been visiting this forum regularly for quite some time now in envy of most of your camping setups, and now I finally picked up my very first camper, I am super excited! Its a mid 80's 8' Security with a working stove, fridge, water pump and furnace! All in all its in pretty good shape for the price. I picked this up for $350 including stands and tie downs, which leaves a decent budget for upgrades to my liking. The plans for it will be fairly mild, with some tasteful and modern upgrades. It will see lots of forestry service roads, nothing too major. The girlfriend is gonna redo all the couch cushions and curtains for me :ylsmoke: Exterior and interior paint are in its future, Im thinking somewhat of a simple paint job of white with black stripe around the outside, maybe with some real leaf camo incorporated.. New floors whether it be laminate or sticky tiles, etc..
Will be a fairly slow build over the winter as I dont have alot of time, Im hoping that starting the thread will inspire me to keep plugging away until shes ready for a winter camp.
Anyways If anyone has any ideas about what I should do or shouldnt do let me know,
Thanks!!
