Was like that on the Motodog too and didn`t seem to be that bad.

Thought about rerouting the exhasut a lot but couldn`t find any good solutions. Will do it for sure if i have some good ideas how to do.

Worked on the gas pedal today. First i made a mount for the cable:

Then i made a lever to go on the pedal:

Brazed it on:

This is how it goes together:

Mounted a spring to take some load of the carb and the cable:

And made a skid for it. Don`t like the idea of it catching something and going full throttle:

I can`t stop thinking about building it like a ratrod or Mad Max style thing. But i just can`t come up with ideas? Do you guys have any ideas?

Made a mount for the brake cylinder today:

And mounted it:

Then i removed a broken screw:

To mount a shielding plate so the brake fluid won`t get cooked:

Then i started building the chain idler and soon realized that i messed up before. You can only shorten and put a chain back together every other link. Of course i missed that when i mounted the rear axle:

So i cut the mounting plates off:

And welded them in in the right place:

Then i pressed a bearing into the idler sprocket:

Milled a mounting block:

And tacked it on:

**** it, i try building a rat rod out of this...

First i stripped it back down:

Had a look at the scrap bin:

Lowered the upper strut:

And bend up a bonnet:

Was a bit short, so it put on another piece:

Cut the sides:

And welded them back on:

In case you where wondering why i pull watering cans out of the scrap bin:

Bend up a strip of sheetmetal today:

Cut some shapes out:

Tacked it on:

Welded it up:

And ground it down:

Then i soldered a pipe out of copper:

Thought about a cow catcher too. Not sure if it would be too much?

Don`t think i`d have any chance in that competition.

I think this thing needs a grill, so i started thinking:

Milled some slots in a piece of sheetmetal:

Bent it up:

Welded it:

And ground it smooth:

Made a hinge for the hood:

And a nice cone for the rear:

Then i cut a hole in the hood:

And put in the tank:

Brazed the heat sink on the exhaust:

And put it together:

Brazed a big hydraulic fitting in the gas tank:

Brazed on some mounts:

And made a filler cap:

All together:

Mounted a couple hood fixtures:

Put on the shifter for the second gearbox:

And made a linkage for the first one:

Put on some headlights:

And a total:

Anyone able to photoshop this with some John Deere colours? Think this`d look good, but not sure about all the copper and brass...

Cut up the gauges today and mounted the tach back:

Mounted a fan:
