Really like the whole story from finding it........ to the CO2 tank............good for tires, but "wasted" every time you air down - why not an air compressor, nearly same price as the really nice tank (bling factor 30+) and you'll have it without ever running out.

BUT REALLY, my main question is how come your blingy grille is divided into eight, when every Jeep grille (except early Ford GPW's and really early Willys) all have SEVEN divisions in their grille - don't they?.....Huh?

How is it your d35 has 2 different "lockers" in it? And why are you running RCV's with such small tires?

well, first off it was a gift from my brother. i have been debating on an air setup for a while and unless i have a source of 110v power, a compressor doesnt make much sense. if i have my toy hauler with me with its on board 7500w generator, then i can run pretty much air compressor i want. a 12v pump/compressor is an option but they tend to take a VERY long time to air the tires back up. i can easily take this setup with me whichever vehicle im driving, including the 6 trailer tires if i were to take the toyhauler somewhere where i needed to air down. plus i can run small air tools if need be, and west air is right down the street which we have an account with so filling the tank is cheap.

i count 7 bars between the black grill openings in my factory bling grill ;)

went out to the imperial valley to visit my best friend this weekend. he has a fairly built up cj-7 golden eagle so we went out exploring and had a BLAST! the zj did awesome, and surprised the heck outta me in a pretty hairy section. drug a little trans crossmember and skuffed a wheel but no biggie :) good thing it flexes pretty well since the rear lsd is shot so i effectively have open diffs front and rear...

finally got a real track bar up front in the form of the RE extreme duty double sheer setup. seems to have taken care of the annoying bump steer that it had after the left was put on. also had an alignment done, now the z drives quite a bit better. think i need to source a new steering box to dial it in all the way, prolly upgrade to a durango box while im at it but thatll have to wait for a little bit to build back up some fundage :)

really like these parts, very beefy and great fitment

That steering linkage looks familiar, glad it's been put to good use. You need to box in your lower control arms brackets before you bend them up. And flip your upper track bar end so the grease fitting is facing up.

hit up truckhaven/ocotillo wells for the tierra del sol festivities. did not run the trail this year, might do next year tho. havent really done anything new to the zj cept drive it to work once in a while, otherwise its just sitting in the driveway. had the AC recharged before the last trip which was nice as it was pretty warm out there but the freon has since leaked out. looks like the o-rings at the compressor are leaking

Wow you definitely have a lot of ideas going for this one! I commend your enthusiasm to make your Jeep totally yours. Are you planning on doing it all yourself? I don't think I could take all that on myself! So far I've only customized my Jeep's bumper kit but now I'm itching to do more... I might steal some of your ideas! Keep us posted on your progress!
