Propex heater questions...

So I bought a Propex for my Khaya and have a few questions.

Exhaust and intake hose lengths must be kept factory? Says so in the instructions but I’ve seen the AT heater in a tool box thing and those are shorter. Mario I way smarter than me.

Second, can you mount it on its side? With the intake and exhaust pointing to the horizon? Can the exhaust pipe be directed vertically?

Thanks in advance, I’ll probably have more questions.

The stainless steel flue pipe and the combustion air inlet cannot be shorter. They are typically just laid on the bottom of the toolbox and run from one end of the box to an outlet on the other end by curling them a little.

The heater must not be mounted vertically on its nose or end or upside down but on one of its sides is not a problem. Remember when mounting the unit you should ensure you can still maintain access to the electronics cover and gas connections

I can send you a pic of my toolbox or you could see in person since we both appear to be in Phoenix if you want to.
