Quadvan, Quigley 4x4 conversion question

I just ordered a 2017 Ford Transit. It should be mine around mid September.

I am seriously considering a 4x4 conversion by Quadvan or Quigley. I have been researching what they do to the van and from what I have found they both use the same Ford truck parts and very similar pricing.

My question is what do they do for the front wheel hub? They both keep the Macpherson strut front suspension so a F-150 front hub will not work.

Do they each make a custom hub or is it from another vehicle? If it is custom this could be the deciding factor on which I choose. I want to see who makes the better part.

I have searched for a picture but no luck. Can anyone direct me to pictures of the front hub where the Macpherson strut and front drive axle come together?

I have some pics of a Quigley, just checked one out last week. The knuckle looks stock to me, def not custom. The steering rack has been moved from the front to the back... not 100% sure what they're doing. Email me and I'll send some pics!

Customer of mine has a brand new one that is going up there soon. He was going to get a 4x4 Sprinter but I talked him into the Quigley Transit instead.

Soooooo, obviously we all want to know why you talked him into the Ford over the Sprinter...

Message sent. Thanks for the pics.

Morey, - I took a look at your pics. Good stuff but none of the front hub showing the hub, suspension and drive axle. Any chance you can post a pic so we can compare Quadvan to Quigley?

Thanks

According to Quigley's 2017 Transit price sheet, the front hub assembly is a custom job, not from F series. The F series components used are: front independent axle, front axle shafts, front hub locks, steering. Suspension is retained from the Transit.

Also, just FYI in case you haven't looked into it yet, I called Quadvan last week to inquire about the conversion and was told they aren't taking any new orders until March 2017.
