Quality enclosed trailer, does it exist?

Having owned an RV and travel trailer and looked at some newer ones, I realize most RV products are very cheaply made. As I am considering an enclosed trailer to haul and store thing in with the potential to make it into a camper, I am wondering if they are all cheaply made or is there any brands built better?

Check out Colorado Offroad Trailers. We have one to haul around the motos that has a full bath up front. Would be fairly easy to convert one of the larger ones yourself I think. Very well built but you pay for it.

There are some reports of the aluminum frame welds cracking on ATC. Military aluminum trailers are Huck bolted together/not welded for a reason.

Agreed. When I built my M1102, it was all huck and mil spec rivets. Had to purchase an expensive huck gun, but it was well worth it for the quality connection.

One of my medical contracts had two of these custom ordered, it was not a great experience. And had some QC issues. Was also during 2021 though,

Thanks for all the suggestions. The project is still a ways off just doing the research for now. More looking for a smaller 6 or 7 X12 for storage for Motorcycles, kayaks, etc. then convert it later. We usually rough it in our 22' RV. Except for the bed setup it is so dam comfortable. But we'd like to be able to get back a little deeper than the RV can make it, thus a trailer pulled by my truck.
The second roll for the trailer is to be able to park motorcycles in it in the summer, then store it at a friend's house over the winter to keep stuff out of my garage so I can use the woodshop in winter.

Basic conversion on ours in 2012, still running it today.
7x16 Cargo Craft Conversion

I've read good reports front Neo brand also. Our Cargo Craft is built strong, had a few QC issues, but they sent a crew to our house to correct it, gotta like that for customer service.

I had them build an Expedition model using standard Explorer model axles for more ground clearance, (20" hitch ball height). Make your floor plan, always add 2'.

This Canadian company shows up as a quality built trailer in other outdoors/toy hauler discussion forums.
